Yesterday at abut 12:00p.m. in the of the store rooms of the Pigs Nose Inn caught alight. Carlo the chef who was working at the time said, I was going from the kitchen putting some food back in the freezer when a smelt something like burning rubber. I turned around and looked at the electricity board and found that is was on fire so a automatically raised the alarm.” after that the fire alarms had gone off and the pub was safely and quickly evacuated. I who was in bed at the time got abruptly woken up by my mother and told to go outside. When I got to the kitchen I could see and hear sparks and explosions. 2 volunteers where trying to put it out but it just got worse, so in the end they had to give up. It took about 20 minutes for the Fire Service to arrive and when the did the managed to put the fire out in about half-an-hour. Luckily the fire was durning the day not the night when we are all asleep also that nobody was heart.

Now they we are recovering the pubs still open but the kitchen may take a while for the electrics to be operational so Carlo is arranging a different kind of menu. Tonight there is going to be a barbecue.
